This survey of 18 works from the museum's Permanent Collection, drawn from the 1940s through 2007, explores the world of watercolor paintings-a medium that requires a delicate touch and exacting brushwork. The exhibit is on display through March 14, 2010 at Studio Museum in Harlem.
The exhibition includes pieces that have never before been seen at the Studio Museum, or are rarely exhibited due to their fragility, and features work by John Dowell, John Bankston, Wangechi Mutu and more. For more information, visit www.studiomuseum.org.
