A Class Act NY, Manhattan's premier award-winning acting studio for kids and teens will be welcoming stage and screen star, Jackie Hoffman for a one-day comedy workshop.
Jackie Hoffman is best known for her hysterically funny facial expressions and laugh out loud, one-woman shows.
She was last seen on Broadway playing the role of Grandma, a role she originated, in The Addams Family. Other Broadway credits include Xanadu and Hairspray, for which she won the Theatre World Award.
Jackie is a veteran of Chicago's SECOND CITY Comedy Improv Group, and won Chicago's most venerable theatre award, the Joseph Jefferson, during her eight-year tenure with the troupe.
Artistic Director Jessica Rofé says, "I am a HUGE fan of Jackie Hoffman's work. I first saw her in the film, Kissing Jessica Stein and was floored by her performance. She hit all the right notes. I can't wait to see what she does with the kids."
Comedy is all in the timing - join A Class Act NY for their comedy workshop with veteran actress Jackie Hoffman on Saturday, February 18th. Jackie will help your child tap into his inner clown by coaching comedic scenes, offering constructive criticism, and giving feedback.
