A Class Act NY, New York's premier Acting Studio for kids & teens, has announced their 2008 dates for their One Week Broadway Summer Camp, CAMP ACA. CAMP ACA will take place for 5 fun-filled, jam-packed days in Midtown Manhattan - Monday, August 18 through Friday, August 22, from 9 am - 5 pm daily.

Campers will take Workshops with Broadway Stars & ACA Staff in all areas of performance, including Dance, Improvisation, Musical Theatre Audition Technique, Acting for the Camera, Voice Training, Intro to Stage Combat, Stage Make-up, and Shakespeare. Last summer, Broadway guest instructors included Jessica Boevers-Bogart, Ray Wills, and John Hayden, among others!

When not participating in a Workshop, Campers will rehearse for CAMP ACA's Final Showcase, where they'll make their exciting Off-Broadway Debut at the end of the week for family & friends at a NYC Theatre in the heart of the Theatre District!

On Wednesday afternoon, Campers see a Broadway matinee and have a Talk Back with actors after the show! In 2007, Campers saw Legally Blonde and met A Class Act NY friend and Tony-Nominated Actor, Elle Woods herself, Laura Bell Bundy

As if Campers weren't busy enough, each day Broadway actors from the Great White Way come in during lunch to share their professional experiences with campers, answer questions and sign autographs! Last summer, fantastic lunch guests included Cast members from the Broadway productions of Les Mis, Curtains, How The Grinch Stole Christmas, and the entire cast of Forbidden Broadway!
