92nd Street Y Spotlights Classical Composers in 2010-2011 Season

The 92nd Street Y has announced their 2010-2011 schedule which will focus on classical composers.  The line-up includes the Takacs Quartet in a Schubert concert series October 16, February 26, and April 9.  Another concert series will feature the Kalichstein-Laredo-Robinson Trio playing the music of the Schumanns, Brahms, and Chopin on October 27-28, December 15-16, and April 6-7.

Other programs include a Chopin recital featuring Charles Rosen and Fred Sherry on November 20.  Leon Fleisher will give a recital on November 13 and a chamber concert on December 11, followed by the showing of the film, "Two Hands: The Leon Fleisher Story."
