Sol Adler, executive director of the 92nd Street Y, says, “With 92YTribeca, we are creating a downtown cultural hub for the 20-something set, where a night out is empowering and inspiring – as well as lots of fun. By day, we hope it will be a home away from home for adults of all ages to learn, socialize, explore – and eat some amazing food.”
Speaking of food… Menu items at Café 92YTribeca are made-to-order, using locally sourced, kosher dairy ingredients: gourmet grilled cheese with sweet onion and fig; Belgian-chocolate egg creams; “92 Hour Pickles,” blueberry lemonade, smoked salmon Reuben, cardamom-infused rice pudding and deviled eggs with wasabi tuna. The café is open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and late-night snacking.
