Theater at 92YTribeca- Wed, Dec 2, 9 pm, $10
AN EVENING WITH Kyle Jarrow feat. Libby Winters, Lauren Worsham, Caesar Samayoa, SUSAN GOODWILLIE
NYC's "hipster playwright" and Obie Award-winning playwright and composer Kyle Jarrow brings together young luminaries of the theater, rock, and art worlds for a special, one-night-only staged concert event. The night will showcase songs from Jarrow's various theater pieces as well as from his bands The Fabulous Entourage and Super Mirage, who have been described as if "the Scissor Sisters and Hedwig got together to cover old Meat Loaf songs. In other words, absolutely fabulous." Expect a freewheeling glam rock extravaganza with a downtown edge and a Broadway pedigree. Directed by Travis Chamberlain with arrangements and musical direction by Nathan Leigh.
