Showcasing the vibrancy of Chelsea's summer art exhibitions, galleries and artists throughout the neighborhood will welcome visitors tonight, July 25, 5-8pm, for the Fourth Annual Chelsea Art Walk. Galleries will be open late hosting artist talks, openings, and special events. Chelsea Art Walk is free and open to the public, with festivities taking place at venues spanning West 19th to West 29th Street.

More than 85 galleries, art spaces, and artist studios are set to participate in the Chelsea ArtWalk, with special events at selected locations, including a pop-up bookstore at David Zwirner (519 West 19th Street), a lecture on Japanese photographer Takuma Nakahira at Yossi Milo (245Tenth Avenue), and artist receptions at Kips Gallery (511 West 25th Street), International Print Center New York (508 West 26th Street), Onishi Project (521 West 26th Street), among others.

Chelsea Art Walk is a community-wide collaborative event organized to encourage newaudiences for exciting group exhibitions and special projects only on view during the summer. Over the last three years, Chelsea Art Walk has attracted thousands of visitors for this one-night only celebration.

Chelsea Art Walk is sponsored, in part, by Kristina Leonetti of Corcoran Group Real Estate, Larry Weisberg of Pathé Shipping Supplies, M Magazine, and Uovo Fine Art Storage. Leadmedia sponsorship is provided by The New York Observer. A list of participating galleries will be available at all locations.
