48Hours in... El Bronx is a collaborative experience presented in association with our colleagues from Harlem9, in which 30 invited artists - 6 Latino playwrights, along with 6 directors and 18 actors - are challenged to re-conceive notable events/experiences from The Bronx into six different ten-minute plays.

About Harlem9

Harlem9 is a collaborative producing organization in Harlem, comprised of a group Black theatre professionals from various backgrounds to produce together in Harlem, exploring the past, present and future of black culture, celebrating its rich and diverse history of storytelling. The Harlem9 won an OBIE award in 2014 for 48Hours in... Harlem, their annual sold out theater festival.
