2SCOOPS IS BACK!.. but not for long.
2SCOOPS: THE FAREWELL TOUR will play Joe's Pub April 15th & 29th!
The rumors R true. 2Scoops, The Legendary, Chart-Topping, Entirely Fictional 90's Girl Group are parting ways and saying goodbye on their very first Farewell Tour.
Long after cassingles, beepers, and neon colors have gone out of style, these 2 girlz from around the way still cling tight 2 the music and style of the 90's. Holding the world record for the most breakups of any group in history, they were recently reunited, broken up again and re-reunited on the Joe's Pub stage.
Don't Miss Dana and Deena for a night of fresh tales, classic jamz, and the same ol' bad attitudes.
2Scoops is written and performed by Aaron Fuksa & Adam Enright.
Special Video Material by Chris Ford and Glamsmash Productions featuring Meaghan Sands.
Catch them Monday, April 15th at 7pm and Monday, April 29th at 9:30pm.
The Farewell Tour will mark the 5th original 2Scoops show at Joe's Pub. Previous shows include Re-U-Nited, 4 The Holidayz, Lady Bizness and Legally Oblig8ted. 2Scoops has also performed at Les Poison Rouge, 54 Below, Drom and Littlefield. They have several viral videos such as their Youtube Christmas Special, Christmas? Already?! and the music video for the original song "Caveman" featuring Broadway's Travis Kent. Former show guests have included Broadway's Jessica Vosk (Wicked), Clifton Oliver (The Lion King), Allison Guinn (On The Town), James Jackson, Jr. (Playwrights Horizons A Strange Loop), Ebony Blake (Book Of Mormon), Vicky Modica (White Wedding), Michael Damian Fasano (Jersey Boys), Courtney Cowart (Snowy Mountain Sisters), and Chris Gleim (Radio City Christmas Spectacular). Some may know 2Scoops from their absurd guest appearances in Jessica Vosk's cabarets You Asked For It and Being Green at 54 Below both Directed by Robbie Rozelle.
Adam Enright is and actor, singer and writer. He has lived in New York for a very, very long time. His solo show Good Bitch Goes Down recently played Boise Contemporary Theater for a three-week run but originated at Joe's Pub at the Public where he regularly performs with 2Scoops. He is a Progressive Theatre Workshop associate artist, having performed in a developmental reading of Cake (Dixon Place) and God Hates This Show (HERE Arts Center) both written and directed by John J. Caswell, Jr. Adam can be heard on the upcoming album GREAT BLUE by Erin and Her Cello. You probably didn't notice him on TV in Mozart in the Jungle, Odd Mom Out, Eastsiders and Power or in the films Landline and Stella's Last Weekend. He is featured in the upcoming film Drunk Parents playing a surly, British airline attendant. Adam has played Hedwig twice and wouldn't mind doing it again. www.adam-enright.com
