A trilogy of shows, under one roof, kick off the fall art scene when 250 artists and artisans exhibit their work at the 2012 Contemporary Art Fair NYC, American Craft Show NYC and Art Off the Main at the Javits Center, October 19, 20 and 21, 2012. The art fair and craft show celebrate their third year. This is the first year Art Off the Main joins the art fair and craft show, sharing 70,000 square feet of space.

Contemporary Art Fair NYC exhibitors include established and emerging painters, photographers, sculptors and artists working in mixed media. Exhibits at the American Craft Show NYC will feature fashion, jewelry and accessories as well as furniture, ceramics, glass, wood, metal and textiles. Richard and Joanna Rothbard of American Art Marketing, who launched the two events, have directed art fairs and craft shows for 30+ years. They also produce three annual Berkshires Arts Festivals and the American Craft Show Sarasota and founded the spring Rockefeller Arts Festival in Manhattan [2002-2005].

“We look for exceptional work, execution, and style and pick the most compelling, creative, gifted artists and artisans from the thousands we see every year,” said Richard Rothbard.

Art Off the Main, founded by Loris Crawford, is a showcase for paintings, drawings, graphics, sculpture and installations by artists of Caribbean, African and Latin American ancestry. Launched in 2004, and most recently in an online format, it comprised artists from 20 countries including the United States.
