The 2012 Broadway's Carols for a Cure, Volume 14 is available now! Lovers of Broadway talent can do some early holiday shopping as well as support Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS (BC/EFA) through the purchase of this 2-disc, annual CD of original and traditional holiday music from the current 2012 Broadway line-up. Broadway's Carols for a Cure, Volume 14 can be ordered for only $23 through BC/EFA at broadwaycares.org or by calling (212) 840-0770 x238 Monday-Friday, 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. EST. Volumes from previous seasons are available, too (check online or call for price).

As always, the CDs will be sold at participating Broadway and off-Broadway shows in New York during a six-week "Gypsy-of-the-Year" fundraising period, which starts now and runs this year through mid-December. Additionally, the CDs are available at select venues throughout the U.S., including The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC, The John W. Engeman Theater in Northport, NY and The Arvada Center for the Performing Arts in Arvada, CO.

Highlights of Broadway's Carols for a Cure, Vol. 14 include Ricky Martin, who plays Che, plus all four leads from "Evita" – Elena Roger (Evita), Michael Cerveris (Peron) and Max von Essen (Magaldi) – singing "We Three Kings/Los Reyes Magos;" Broadway legend Chita Rivera joining Stephanie J. Block, Jim Norton, and others from "The Mystery of Edwin Drood" singing a wild "Good Queen Wenceslas" (a play on Good King Wenceslas); pop star Cyndi Lauper, who wrote the music for "Kinky Boots," due to open on Broadway in the Spring, vocalizing "Blue Christmas;" The Phantom himself, Hugh Panaro, singing lead along with the rest of the company of "The Phantom of the Opera" on an original song "Outside the Box;" and celebrity blogger Perez Hilton, who is making his New York stage debut in the comical off-Broadway revue "NEWSical the Musical," singing an original song called "A Perez Hilton Christmas."

Plus, the 2-disc set presents "The Lion King," with the Disney characters Timon and Pumbaa (played by Fred Berman and Ben Jeffrey, respectively) singing musician and composer Peter Candela's original music, lyrics and orchestrations for a song called "The Wreath of Kindness;" "Mary Poppins" (The Birthday of a King); "Spiderman," featuring Aaron Lavigne & Rebecca Faulkenberry doing Aaron's original song "Call Your Mom;" "Once," performing a traditional Irish carol, "The Wexford Carol;" the cast of "Chaplin" singing an original song called "You Don't Have To Be Alone on Christmas;" Orfeh and Andy Karl singing with cast members from "Jersey Boys;" plus "Wicked," "Mamma Mia!", "Newsies," "Rock of Ages," "Rebecca," "Jersey Boys," and Kate Wetherhead, Benjamin Eakeley, Howie Michael Smith and Joanna Shubart, representing The John Engeman Theatre.
