2008 Chase Brock Experience Benefit on October 20th With Arden and More

The 2008 Chase Brock Experience Benefit will take place October 20th at Florence Gould Hall. This one-night only event will feature the company joined by an exciting group of artists from the Broadway, ballet and music worlds, all dancing in revivals of audience favorites as well as several world premieres.

The evening features The Chase Brock Experience dancers Kendrick D. Great American Musicals in Concert'), Chase Brock (of FOX's 'So You Think You Can Dance' and Broadways' 'The Times They Are A-Changin' ') in a special appearance 'Neil Haskell,' Lorin Latarro (from Broadway's 'Movin' Out,' 'Fosse,' 'A Chorus Line,' 'Curtains'), Brian Letendre (from Broadway's 'Mary Poppins,' 'Movin' Out,' 'Urban Cowboy') Elizabeth Parkinson (Tony Award Nominee from 'Movin' Out,' 'Fosse,' Joffrey Ballet, Twyla Tharp Dance), Peter Sachon (cellist from 'South Pacific,' 'Light in the Piazza'), and John Selya (Tony Award Nominee from 'Movin' Out,' American Ballet Theatre, Twyla Tharp Dance)

The program includes 'Blue Twilight' from David and Joseph Zellnik's musical 'Yank!', featuring pianist Rob Berman; Brock's 'Mission: Implausible' (2008), featuring a Chase Brock Experience commissioned score by Joshua Rosenblum; 'Seeing Stars' (2007); 'Slow Float' (2007) excerpts featuring Elizabeth Parkinson and Chase Brock; 'Spring' from Brock's 'The Four Seasons' (2008); 'Thou Winter Wind' (from Broadway's 'Gypsy of the Year' event, featuring music by Michael Arden and featuring Mr. Arden); World Premiere (featuring Stephen Schwartz's 'Appassionato') featuring cellist Peter Sachon; World Premiere (featuring the songs of David Yazbek), featuring Neil Haskell, Lorin Latarro, Brian Letendre, and John Selya.
