1st Annual Golden Tier Awards to Honor Best in the Dessert World This June

American Cake Decorating Magazine and New York Cake Show founder Lisa Mansour will present the 1st annuAl Golden Tier Awards on Saturday, June 10th at the iPic Theater in NYC. The event will be the first American-hosted, international awards show of its kind. The awards ceremony will recognize the achievements of the best of the best in the dessert world.

Master cake artist decorator Ron Ben-Israel, royal icing master Eddie Spence, Culinary Institute of America School of Baking and Pastry Arts Dean Thomas Vaccoro, Cake Wars judge Sherry Yard are just a few of the 17 notable names confirmed to judge this year's inaugural event. Others include some of the world's top pastry chefs, cake and sugar-artists, dessert professionals, authors and writers, chocolatiers, and instructors.

Winning a Golden Tier Award will be a new badge of distinction and platform for recognition; honoring outstanding achievement, talent, innovation and service. The event will also serve as the grand finale to this year's NY Cake Show taking place at Pier 36, celebrating the very best the industry has to offer.

Lisa Mansour is an award-winning expert in cake decoration, and is co-founder and co-owner of NY Cake & Baking Supply. She is also head of the NY Cake Academy, where she frequently teaches classes, and provides content for instructional videos. Additionally, she manages a number of retail, online and wholesale businesses for cake decorating products and tools.
