13th Annual Entertainment Industry Foundation Revlon Run/Walk For Women Held 5/1

On Saturday, May 1st, join the fight against women's cancers by participating in the 13th Annual Entertainment Industry Foundation Revlon Run/Walk For Women featuring New York artist Eileen Hickey Hulme. www.eileenhickey-hulme.com

Armed with REVLON nail polish, lipstick, eyeshadow and various other unconventional media, Eileen creates her pearlescent, abstract image often juxtaposing images of power with those of fragility.

Eileen will be painting her signature work, "Persian Candy" during the Run/Walk Health Expo from 9:00am through the closing ceremonies of the Finish Line Festivities around noon. The Health Expo is located in Central Park's East Meadow at 97th Street and 5th Avenue.

Run/Walk participants and the general will be welcome to paint and learn Eileen's techniques. Celebrities including Jessica Alba, Halle Berry, Jessica Biel, Jesse L. Martin and Dr. Oz will be present at this year's event. The finished work will be auctioned off with all proceeds going to the EIF Revlon Run/Walk For Women.

Eileen Hickey-Hulme's radiant paintings of texture and light combine the warmth of personal and autobiographical while maintaining a rigorous and meditative quality. Her pieces possess a potent symbolic imagery and intense, intelligent radiance. They are opulent surfaces flooded with color that shimmer between abstraction and representation. She studied with Leo Steinberg and was Curatorial Intern for Diane Waldman at the Guggenheim Museum as well as a Classifier and Cataloguer at the Frick Art Reference Library.

Created in 1993 through the committed and collective efforts of the Entertainment Industry Foundation, Lilly Tartikoff, Ronald O.
