The 12th Annual LATIN AMERICAN CULTURAL WEEK will include performances by the CALPULLI MEXICAN DANCE COMPANY and Shall We Tango, a series of milongas, performances, seminars and classes on Tango with Masters GABRIEL MISSE and CARLA ESPINOZA.
Latin American Cultural Week, running November 10-19, will once again present dance, music, theater, and visual arts events in venues in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Bronx, and Queens in order to create awareness and appreciation of Latin American arts and culture, while fostering inclusion and pride.

in "Dia de los Muertos" (Day of the Dead), a universal love story inspired by the native Mexican tradition. Work includes Mexican folk dances, classical ballet, and live music.

Argentine Tango
Master Gabriel Misse and his partner Carla Espinoza return to NYC with an Intensive Argentine Tango Seminar, designed to improve technique, build sequences, and develop Argentina Tango culture and music appreciation. Misse, called "the Baryshnikov of Tango" by Alastair Macaulay in The New York Times, has drawn on his own training and vast knowledge and expertize to create a seminar to help dancers on all levels.
