Museum President Ellen V. Futter and Hayden Planetarium Director Neil deGrasse Tyson will officially start the festivities to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Frederick Phineas and Sandra Priest Rose Center for Earth and Space. The American Museum of Natural History welcomes visitors to a special celebration for all ages featuring exciting performances, a special appearance by NASA astronaut Michael Massimino, live concerts, hands-on activities, a discussion with Chair of the Division of Physical Sciences Mordecai-Mark Mac Low, and the world premiere of the new Big Bang presentation narrated by the internationally renowned actor Liam Neeson.

In the evening there will be a special ticketed Isaac Asimov Debate on whether other planets might have the necessary conditions to support life moderated by Neil deGrasse Tyson.
