The Society of American Magicians, Parent Assembly Number 1, in association with Queens Theatre, will present the 105th Annual Salute to Magic, commemorating the role of magic in the 50th and 75th anniversaries of the 1964 and 1939 New York World's Fairs. The performance will be tonight, May 17, 2014 at 8:00pm at Queens Theatre (14 United Nations Avenue South, Flushing Meadows Corona Park, Queens, NY 11368).

Founded in 1902 in Martinka's magic shop in New York City, The Society of American Magicians is the oldest and most prestigious magical society in the world. For one night only, QT presents their 105th annual event featuring some of the best magicians in the world. Internationally-renowned magician Jeff McBride, the show?s headliner, is making a rare New York City appearance at the Salute. Acclaimed conjurors Jay Scott Berry (Master of Ceremonies), Joe & Bronwyn Devlin, David Oliver, and Kamarr are also featured in the evening?s show. Close-up magic will be performed before curtain and during intermission by members of the Society of Young Magicians. Sol Stone will be honored as 2014?s Magician of the Year.
