The producers of the 101 Dalmatians Musical have just released a statement regarding their animal stars:

The 101 Dalmations Musical has been touring across America and will conclude after its New York engagement at The Theater at Madison Square Garden on April 18, 2010.  The 101 Dalmatians Musical has had an incredible run and has been loved by audiences from city to city.  We see no better way to commemorate the show’s final performance than in New York, the epicenter of entertainment and theater.

Our rescued Dalmatian stars will return to animal trainer Joel Slaven’s, Joel Slaven Professional Animal Florida Ranch, following the New York run. While there, they will be cared for by JSPA’s skilled team of veterinarians and animal trainers.

Second Chances Dalmatian Rescue will then individually place the Dalmatians into foster homes for two-four weeks, where they can each get acclimated to home living again. Then, through careful screening, each Dalmatian will be placed in their perfect forever home.

Once placed, Purina Dog Chow, the 101 Dalmatians Musical tour sponsor, is kindly providing the new adoptive families with the first year of food to help get their new canine family member off to a great start!

And although applications have been accepted throughout the tour, adoption applications are still being accepted. For more information, and to fill out an application form, please visit www.The101DalmatiansMusical.com or www.gotspots.org.
