Aritzia Opens New Fifth Avenue Flagship

Aritzia opened a massive flagship store on Fifth Avenue.  This is the Canadian retailer's second Manhattan location but the decor is very different from their Soho location.  According to a press release, the design concept of the new store "revolves around a metaphysical theme inspired by natural phenomena."

This inspiration includes giant mushrooms that were hand carved from cherry wood. One of them is 30 feet tall and creates a canopy over the lounge on the upper level.  Mushrooms aside, the apparel remains the same featuring exclusive lines by Wilfred, Wilfred Free, Le Fou, and T.Babaton.
