As New York City's longest-running junior benefit, the Museum Dance brings together influential young philanthropists to celebrate and raise essential funds for the Museum's scientific and educational programs, which enable thousands of underserved New York City school children to visit the Museum annually. The theme of the evening is Bright Young Things, in honor of the Museum's upcoming exhibition Creatures of Light: Nature's Bioluminescence. Guests are encouraged to dress in bright and bold colors.

The event begins with an intimate dinner and dessert followed by dancing for all.Music provided by DJ Jus-Ske. Throughout the evening, there will be a silent auction with luxury items from many of New York's most exclusive retailers. All funds raised from the event benefit the Museum's scientific and educational programming.
