The consecration at Gran Teatro

The starting point of this spectacle of flamenco dance is the fascination felt by Rafael Estévez and Valeriano cloths by the ballets Russes of Diaghilev, Nijinsky and Stravinsky's music. The research of our history and legacy are the path that has led Estevez and cloths to frame this "Rite of spring" in the Andalusian countryside of any Spanish or foreign land. The show consists of two parts and is inspired by the journeyman from any period, any people of any origin or race, and the sacrifice of these men and women who worked the land from sunrise to sunset and were victims of the powerful. The consecration was awarded the Giraldillo 2012 best choreography.
