The Nutcracker at Teatro Colón

In line with the purest global tradition, our Permanent Ballet Company closes its season with The Nutcracker, the Christmas story taken to the dance scene by Lev Ivanov in 1892, redefined for this occasion by the director of the Company, Lidia Segni. Tchaikovsky’s magical music provides with the ideal framework for the depiction of Clara’s dream and her fantastic journey to the Land of Sweet. After his success with La Cenerentola, Gino Bogani will design the costumes for this end-of-year classic.
