TRISTÁN E ISOLDA at Teatro Colón will be presented in three acts, running from July 11 to July 20. The show is based on the romance of Godofredo Estrasburgo.
As a tale made popular during the 12th century, TRISTÁN E ISOLDA is the musical adaptation of the piece by Richard Wagner. From the initial accord of the Prelude to the ecstasy of the Death of Love, no spectator can stop feeling challenged and moved by this medieval legend that continues to say much about today's man.
The musical director for this production will be the maestro Daniel Barenboim, at the head of the Staatskapelle Orchestra of Berlin, along with the Stable Choir and with the assembly of the stage players of the Teatro Colón.
