Review: COMO TODOS LOS DIAS at Border

For us, Musical Theatre fans here in Argentina, it is always extremely exciting when an off-Broadway show makes it to Buenos Aires.

"Como todos los dìas" (Ordinary Days) was no exception.

This story about four very different characters arrives to our theatres to let us know that sometimes what really matters are not the big unachievable things, but the small ones, the ones we come across every single day without even thinking about them twice.

With a very simple scenery, Lisandro Nesis, Manuela Del Campo, Argentino Molinuevo and Sofía Rangone managed to bring me back to New York, and allowed me to walk for an hour and a half around that city I miss so much everyday. Colton Pometta, the director, knew how to bring with him its culture and art.

Manuela Del Campo plays an extremely anxious and frantic Deb that makes you laugh and want to hug her at the same time. Sofía Rangone moves the audience to tears with her Claire, showing once more that there's no roof in her growth and in her sensitivity.

This everyday story is here to remind us that beauty doesn't exist without the eyes that notice it.

That no matter how big our dreams are, there is joy to discover along the way. We can find it in the tiny little things, any ordinary day.
