Fox Cities Performing Arts Center Announces Board Changes

The Fox Cities Performing Arts Center's board of directors will welcome several new leaders while saying thank you to a number of retiring board members, many of whom have served multiple volunteer terms with the nonprofit organization. Travis Andersen, Joyce Bytof, John Krause and Angelo Ninivaggi will fill vacancies created by retiring board members Richard Bergstrom, Linda Kennedy, Dr. John Toussaint and Steve Tyink. 
 
"This May, the Center's board of directors will be undergoing some bittersweet changes. I'm so pleased to welcome the newest additions to our leadership team, and I would like to thank our retiring board members for their many years of exceptional service,said Susan Stockton, president of the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center. "The Center has a tradition of seeking out some of the area's strongest leaders to ensure it sets high standards for for itself. A strong board will continue to drive a strong organization that serves as a vital partner in the the Fox Cities community."
 
The Fox Cities Performing Arts Center's Chairman of the Board, John Hogerty, believes the community's support of the Center is reflected in its board of directors."At the Center, we have a wonderful group of people willing to serve this community by volunteering their time and experience in support of the performing arts. I think there's a great spirit of generosity and community involvement in the Fox Cities, and that's evident in both our incoming board members and those who have fulfilled their leadership commitments to the Center."
 
Travis Andersen is the president of St. Elizabeth Hospital and is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the 352-bed facility. Andersen joined Affinity Health System in 2001 as its director of business development. An Iowa native, Andersen earned his bachelor's degree in psychology and German from Simpson College and his master's in hospital and health administration from the University of Iowa. Andersen is active in the Appleton and Chilton communities.

Joyce Bytof is chairman of the board of Coldwell Banker The Real Estate Group, the largest real estate company in Northeast Wisconsin. Bytof started her career in 1960 in the mortgage business and obtained her broker's license in 1964. In 1990, she was named president and CEO of Coldwell Banker Bytof, Inc., Realtors. After numerous mergers and acquisitions, and a name change to Coldwell Banker The Real Estate Group, Inc. in 1995, Bytof successfully grew the company to 19 office locations and more than 450 real estate professionals. In 2012, Bytof was named chairman of the board of Coldwell Banker. 

John Krause has been a CPA with Baker Tilly for 21 years, including the last nine years as a partner. Krause graduated from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh and lives in Oshkosh with his wife Beckie and their two children Gina, 12, and Trent, 10. Krause is also actively involved in a number of local community boards including YMCA of the Fox Cities, Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce and Boys & Girls Club of Oshkosh. 

Angelo Ninivaggi is the senior vice president, general counsel and secretary of Plexus Corp. where he has been employed since 2002. Prior to joining Plexus, he served as general counsel of MCMS, Inc. and as the associate general counsel of Micron Electronics, Inc. Prior to joining Micron Electronics, Inc., Ninivaggi was an associate at the law firm of Weil, Gotshal & Manges in its New York City office. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Columbia University and a Juris Doctor and Masters in Business Administration from Fordham University. Ninivaggi is married to Jennifer and has three children (Annie, 16, Michael, 15, and Bella, 7).
 
The Fox Cities Performing Arts Center's board of directors oversees the nonprofit organization. The mission of the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center is to serve as a gathering place for the community to engage in educational opportunities and enhance understanding and enjoyment of life through the creation and presentation of the arts. The Center does this by providing a premier venue for performing arts attractions and a dynamic environment for arts organizations. Board members volunteer their time and expertise, committing to three years of service at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center.
