American Legacies is a special concert celebration of
The Common history of New Orleans jazz and American bluegrass music created and performed by the French Quarter's Preservation Hall Jazz Band and The Del McCoury Band. The collaboration has yielded a recording titled "American Legacies" scheduled for release on April 12.
Prior to the performance, the Fox Cities P.A.C. will host an Appleton Papers Inc. Community Engagement Activity in the Kimberly-Clark Theater featuring a presentation by
MarTy Robinson, associate professor of trumpet and jazz at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. This is event is free to American Legacies ticket holders and will start at 6:45 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets start at $24 and are on sale now for American Legacies.
