The Capitol Civic Center of Manitowoc, Wisconsin has a number of upcoming events including the return of the Lettermen, a production of Roger Bean's ROUTE 66, and Celtic Legends.

The legendary singing trio "The Lettermen" will be at the Capitol for one performance Friday February 12, 2010 at 7 pm for "The Lettermen: A Romantic Evening." On February 21st the Capitol Civic Center will present ROUTE 66 as a part of its Marquee Series.

Take a dollop of GREASE and a generous dose of FOREVER PLAID on high octane and you've got the pedal-to the-metal, V-8 powered fun of Roger Bean's ROUTE 66. This performance features hilarious characters, wild antics and good old fashioned shtick along with the hit songs from the late-50's and early-60's: "Dead Man's Curve," "King of the Road," "Little Old Lady from Pasadena," "Six Days on the Road," "GTO," "Fun, Fun, Fun," "I Get Around" and of course, "Route 66."
Then, On February 27th the Marquee Series continues with Celtic Legends. Creative Director Michael Londra blends his Riverdance experience and a beautifully distinctive musical score with the choreography of Gerard Hayes, who thrilled the world touring as lead dancer in "Lord of the Dance" and "Feet of Flames," to produce this visually stunning theatrical performance.

The Celtic Legends live show is an experience overflowing with vitality and variety from start to finish. These artists exhibit great flexibility melding their voices to suit classical, folk, Irish and pop genres. They are the most successful classical crossover artists ever to emerge from Ireland.

Agatha Christie's intriguing play "SPIDER'S WEB" will be brought to the stage by The Masquers from March 18-20. When Clarissa discovers a dead body in her home it soon becomes apparent that the dead man was not unknown to her houseguests. The intrigue begins as the web of deceit starts to unravel and Clarissa races desperately to discover the murderer before the police arrest her.
