The Harlem Quartet
Music with ties to America's cultural capital closes the season. Tchaikovsky conducted his Festival Coronation March in the Big Apple. Former NY Phil bassist Jon Deak's concerto is "concert theater" featuring the Harlem Quartet as both musicians and narrators. Dance music ends it all with Bernstein's catchy music for the stage.

Charlie Chaplin's beloved Little Tramp is a gold prospector, braving the hazards of the Klondike in this quintessential silent film. Paired with a score performed live by the Anchorage Symphony, this concert will give audiences an authentic silent film experience - and lots of laughs along the way!
