Alaska Theatre of Youth is supported, in part, by the Alaska State Council on the Arts, the National Endowment for the Arts, the Municipality of Anchorage and many youth and community-minded individuals and organizations.

ATY's Main Stage Season of Shows has enjoyed the hospitality of the Alaska Center for the Performing Arts for several years producing fully-staged shows from October to May in the Sydney Laurence Theatre. It is a rare opporunity for young artists to perform in Alaska's most renowned facility that regularly hosts world-famous performers and professional Broadway companies.

Providing youth performance opportunities also allows ATY to provide youth audience opportunities! Special school-time performances are offered to the students of South-central Alaska. For more information, teachers should contact school@alaskatheatreofyouth.org.

It is important to ATY that youth are able to experience the enrichment and empowerment that comes from taking part in theatre as a performer and as an audience member. When possible, complimentary tickets have been made available to special needs non-profit and service constituencies. Groups that have received complimentary admission (or ATY toured to their facility) include McLaughlin Youth Center, Alaska Children's Services, the Jesse Lee Home, Compeer, Boys and Girls Club, Alaska Gymnastics, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, among many others. Contact ATY to see if your community-based non-profit or service organization is eligible for complimentary tickets.
