MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING – boy gets girl, boy loses girl, it ends in tears, betrayal, laughter, and a wedding – since 1598 Shakespeare’s comic MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING has had it all, not even counting the legendary team of comic characters Beatrice, Benedict, the evil Don John, and Constable Dogberry. For its sixth offering at the Santa Fe Botanical Garden, the “Shakespeare in the Garden” program offers this beloved comedy, opening July 27 and closing August 20 after sixteen evening outdoor performances. Laugh your Santa Fe summer away in the midst of roses and lavender, scenting the night air! This is one of the Bard’s most loved comedies.
