Peter Pan, or The Boy Who Would Not Grow Up is a modern retelling of the original Peter Pan story by the distinguished British playwrights John Caird and Trevor Nunn. Director Lauren Dusek Albonico's interpretation differs from the familiar musical and Disney versions in that it does not treat Neverland as a separate place or different setting. Instead, through clever staging, the show recreates the magic of children’s imagination, with its power to transform an intimate theatre into a fantasy realm of lost children, fairies, pirates, and hungry crocodiles.
