Hal Holbrook's depiction of Mark Twain has become as much a part of the writer's legacy as his words and humor. Holbrook premiered Mark Twain Tonight! on Broadway when he was 41. Now celebrating his 90th birthday season, he keeps the performance topical by selecting passages from Twain’s works that coincide with current events and continue to amaze audiences with their relevancy today.
