Kaye Ballard, Liliane Montevecchi and Lee Roy Reams, are to star in "Doin' It For Love," a Broadway-style tribute to the standards and the stories behind the music. The Santa Fe show dates, July 20-21, 2012, continue the show's successful Texas and Los Angeles 2012 run. The show features a 10-piece orchestra conducted onstage by David Geist, the show's music director and local Santa Fe favorite. Hilary Knight, the internationally renowned artist and illustrator, designed the poster art and collectables for the show.

The Lensic is presenting "Doin' It For Love," with 100 percent of the profits to benefit Lensic Presents, the artistic programs produced and presented by the performing arts center. Lensic Presents brings a diverse range of artists to its stage, featuring live performances by local, national and international talent. It showcases world-renowned artists such as the Kronos Quartet, Suzanne Farrell Ballet, Arlo Guthrie and Trey McIntyre Company. Lensic Presents also offers a number of series, including Big Screen Classics, Under Construction – new works in progress, World Music, The Met Live in HD and National Theater Live.

Described as "combining Ballard's musical talent, comedic wit and timing, Montevecchi's inimitable French cabaret-style performances and Reams's song-and-dance routines, 'Doin' It For Love' is a one-act show that opens with a one-of-a-kind rendition of "There's No Business Like Show Business." Following the opening number, Reams and Montevecchi each take a star turn, with newly staged performances of their most memorable musical numbers."

Produced by the local Testa Dura Production Company, "Doin' It For Love" is a loving tribute to Broadway from three sensational Broadway stars and an onstage orchestra that makes audiences want to get up and dance.
