Albuquerque Little Theatre wraps up its 87th season with the magical production, MARY POPPINS, opening May 26th.
The jack-of-all trades, Bert, introduces us to England in 1910 and the troubled Banks family. Young Jane and Michael have sent many a nanny packing before Mary Poppins arrives on their doorstep. Using a combination of magic and common sense - and also teaching the importance of a tidy nursery and of taking the medicine they need (with a spoonful of sugar, of course.), she must teach the family how to value each other again. Mary Poppins takes the children on many magical and memorable adventures, but Jane and Michael aren't the only ones she has a profound effect upon. Even grown-ups can learn a lesson or two from the nanny who advises, "Anything can happen if you let it." Come experience this timeless fun-filled classic that is perfect for every member of the family.
MARY POPPINS has a must-see cast of Albuquerque Community Theatre favorites. The cast includes Sharee Garity as Mary Poppins, Ryan Shepherd as Bert, Art Tedesco as George Banks, Emily Melville as Winifred Banks, and Courtney Awe as Miss Andrew.
