The Julesworks Follies, Santa Fe's Community Monthly Variety Show, has its 16th Edition on Saturday, July 27th, starting at 7 p.m., again at the Aztec Café, 317 Aztec Street.

The show continues its mission of offering a live safe environment for an array of Santa Fe's performers and artists. A loyal troupe-like crew has formed of people who perform monthly as often as possible and it is their hope hope each show for at least one new performer. Each show has a host who guides the evening.

Returning performers for our Sweet Sixteen show include: comedian Tom Sibley, authors Patrick Chavez and Leticia Cortez as well as experimentalists Andrew Kirkpatrick and Daryl Welllington.

There will be three Special Guests for this show: author Trent Zelazny presenting a snippet of his award winning fiction, Tone Forrest who will perform snippets from his repertoire of classic literature and our very special musical guest joining for the first time is John Kurzweg. John, one of Santa Fe's most prolific musicians, plays with some of the Follies' best musicians including Sean Healen, with whom John will play later that night at the Cowgirl. John will drop by to open the Follies and play a few acoustic solo songs.

Julesworks carries on performing their serialized play WHATEVER YOU DO with Part 16 including Jules, Tom Sibley, the voice of Stephen Rommel and returning to the stage at last the young talent Brittani Marie Chapman.

Julesworks also carries on with the antics of The Full-On Monty Python Copyright Infringement Experience aka The Monty Python Recreation Brigade Squad Posse aka Crunchy, Raw, Un-Boned, Real, Dead Frog Parrot Droppings to perform sketches from THE FLYING CIRCUS as well as reading snippets from THE HOLY GRAIL.

Joining the show for the first time is comedian and actor Mark Feigenbutz. Mark has been performing stand-up comedy for nearly a decade. Mark will do a short set and join our Python-ing.

Also new to the show is Eric Davis who will begin a serialized reading of an original short THE ODDER COUPLE, an homage to the famed Neil Simon play, with Jules.

Other special guests and performers await confirmation.

Rather than a door charge, they will reprise the Julesworks Raffle selling for a reasonable price tickets to win donated art and goods from Santa Fe's finest.

The Aztec Café offers its fine beverages and light snacks and treats.

They plan to stage another Julesworks Follies Showcase (after the success of our first one in April) at the Santa Fe Playhouse, likely in September. The monthly show at the Aztec offers a chance to develop the highlights to stage at Santa Fe's great community Playhouse.

Julesworks offers their thanks for the continued support.
