Julesworks Follies # 45 Lost Director's Cuts and Julesworks 5th Year Launch will be on Monday June 6th at 7pm at Le Jean Cocteau. Theatre, Music, Comedy, Dance, Literature and much much more from Julesworks Santa Fe's Monthly (Mostly) Variety Show.
Guided by a Host (or three or four), the evening will present a flowing (we hope) array of genres and wealth of talent including (in no determined order): troupe members Johny Broomdust, Sarah Meadows, Greg Lopez, Ferg, Jessica Scarlett Harms, Chris Diestler, Yvette Martinez and the return of Stephen Rommel, an original and long time member and conspirator, as well as our resident musician Gregg Turner with his singers Krissie Pardue & Amy Johnson, long time Julesworker storyteller Patrick Chavez, dancer Jacqueline Almond & singer Stuart Caruthers.
Our Very Special Guest will be Joe West who has graced the Julesworks stages off and on with his beloved musical stylings as well as in sketches and more. Joe West is one of Santa Fe's most cherished performers whose acclaim spreads the region and beyond. His Theatre of Death plays might be considered a cousin to the Julesworks spirit. We welcome him back with open arms to play his music and read in some sketches like Hitchhiker's Guide and Chatting with God.
And introducing: Devon Hawkes Ludlow: performer, musician, puppeteer, clown, and filmmaker whose new zombie puppet musical 'The Love That Would Not Die' is currently playing at the Jean Cocteau. Joining for the first time with a body puppet act, 'Hugo', and joining Julesworks off and on again regular crooner experimentalist Andy Kirkpatrick for a song or two.
