Join Christopher Johnson, Michael Wilson, and Julia Gay for an evening of illuminating poetry. Saturday, November 12, 5pm, free admission, donations to the theatre gratefully accepted.

Christopher J Johnson lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico, where he provides narrative content for the Meow Wolf art collective's immersive 3D art installations. He also writes for and is manager of photo-eye Bookstore. His poems have appeared in West Branch and The American Poetry Review. He will be reading old and new work and from his newly published book &Luckier.
Michael J. Wilson's first collection of poetry, A Child of Storm, has been called "elegantly devastating" and a "kinetic...addictive lyric hybrid". He is an adjunct in the Creative Writing and Literature department at Santa Fe University of Art and Design and reviewer for Publisher's Weekly. He, too, will be reading old and new work as well from A Child of Storm. Julia Gay graduated from the College of Santa Fe and received her Master's in Poetry from Stonecoast. Her first chapbook, DeComposition, was published by dancing girl press. She lives in Santa Fe with her family. She will be reading new work and some pieces from her DeComposition.

I KILLED MUSSOLINI is a play set in both 1998 and 1942. Papa Sal startles his grandson Danny when he declares that he killed Mussolini and spent time locked up as an enemy alien during World War II. Based on actual events, I KILLED MUSSOLINI explores the immigrant experience and how the country reacts to security threats--real or imagined--during wartime.

The outstanding cast includes: Joey Beth Gilbert, Larry Glaister, Tristan Van Cleve, Jeff Nell, Hamilton Turner, Steven Oakey, Christina Smith, and Rachel Kowarski.

The show premieres Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 7 pm at the Santa Fe Woman's Club Theater, 1616 Old Pecos Trail, Santa Fe, NM and will play again on Sunday, November 13, 2016 at 6 pm at Teatro Paraguas, 3205 Calle Marie, Santa Fe, NM.
