With lush, epic arrangements, dynamic three-part harmonies and dashing good looks, GENTRI: The Gentlemen Trio has taken the music industry by storm since first joining forces in 2014.
These three tenors, all leads of such Broadway sensations as Phantom of the Opera, A Tale of Two Cities, Beauty and the Beast, AIDA, Tarzan, and The Scarlet Pimpernel, became friends while starring in a touring regional run of Les Miserables, after which they decided to set stride as GENTRI. Thank goodness for collective inspiration!
In becoming GENTRI, the gents - Brad Robins, Casey Elliot and Bradley Quinn Lever - developed a superb blending of their tenor vocals into a Signature Sound, one that's neatly described as "Cinematic Pop" for its riveting effect of epic vocal journeys.
Relish this trio's tenor force live at the Spencer Theater on Saturday, April 1 at 7 p.m. in a richly layered concert about love in its many guises. The night's program will include such favorites as "Broken Road" (Rascal Flatts), "Just the Way You Are" (Bruno Mars), "And so it Goes" (Billy Joel), several tunes by Queen, Heart, Journey and The Police, and a beautifully structured Broadway medley of standards from Camelot, South Pacific, and West Side Story. Several of GENTRI's own original songs will also fill the night, including the 'Soldier" and their mega-hit "Dare" - a hit which appeared on their 2015 debut album, a release that spent 10 weeks in the Top 10 on both the classical and classical-crossover Billboard charts. "Dare" and its subsequent music video made international headlines on news outlets around the world, including ABC World News, NBC Nightly News and Inside Edition.
Recently the gents were featured in a 60-minute Christmas concert TV special along side "America's Got Talent" star Lexi Walker. They also scored big on Billboard's Hot Single chart three times this past holiday season with their signature blending and arrangement of "What Child Is This?/I Wonder As I Wander" which charted No. 1 three times this past holiday season.
GENTRI has since performed with world-renowned vocal talents and has opened for an array of special events and legendary rock groups. Now they hit the Spencer with their vocal splendor for a night of beautiful cinematic pop.
Excellent seats starting at just $39 are available for the one-night only gig. Call the Spencer Box Office at 575.336.4800 or go online to www.spencertheater.com for tickets.
