Gaelic Storm has earned a reputation as one of the world-music scene's preeminent Celtic bands. With catalog sales of more than 1 million, the group has now had three albums debut at #1 on the Billboard World Albums Chart, and the group's ability to deftly incorporate a rock sensibility into their sound affords them rare crossover appeal. But while many of their songs fit comfortably on contemporary radio, the band also has a knack for writing songs that sound as if they've been sung in Irish pubs for generations.

Moria was founded in 2010 by master artists Ibrahimasory "Soriba" Fofana and Alhassane Camara from Guinea, West Africa. Moria is the name of Camara's home village, and the ensemble was born out of both artists' life work as dancer and musician in the city of Conakry, Guinea. New Mexico drummers and dancers create a full ensemble which portrays the essence and spirit of West Africa. Moria's vision is to bring people together and share happiness through music, dance, song, and theater.
The N4th show will have the full drum and dance ensemble, while the library show will be a smaller group focusing on the music and songs of Guinea.

Three years after stepping away from a full-time music career to attend graduate school, Vienna Teng returns with a new sound and a new approach to songwriting and recording. What emerged from that process is her most uptempo, pop-influenced album yet-and full of surprises, even to its creators. "This album ("Aims") is rekindling my love affair with music, and with the world, really," says Teng. The evening will start with a live on-stage interview by Art of the Song hosts John Dillon and Vivian Nesbitt.

Singer-songwriter Dan Hicks is truly an American original. Since the early 1960s, Hicks has deftly blended elements of Swing, Jazz, Folk and Country music to create the appealing sound he sometimes calls "Folk Jazz." The lyrics of his songs range from the simply sublime to the sublimely ridiculous, all presented with his uniquely skewed and inscrutable touch. Dan's irresistible sense of rhythm, hip lyrical styling, laid-back vocalizing, and infamous on-stage wit will make most who listen fans for life. His long-awaited Christmas album, "Crazy for Christmas," is "necessary for any holiday hipster... a good fit for those who love the holiday, but are absolutely sick of what comes out speakers everywhere each December." (The Mountain Times, North Carolina)
