The Albuquerque Theatre Guild presents COMING ATTRACTIONS now through November 7.

COMING ATTRACTIONS is written by Ted Tally and directed by Kristin Elliott. Lonnie Wayne Burke can be a vicious criminal but lacks the vision to make it big like Ted Bundy or the Son of Sam. Enter Manny, a talent agent who sees Lonnie's potential and takes him under his wing. Together they craft the most devious serial murderer America has ever seen: The Halloween Killer. Complete with a costume and the all important catch phrase, Lonnie soon becomes the media darling he has dreamt he could be. Appearing on Talk shows, The Miss America Pageant and The Billboard Singles charts, The Halloween Killer can't be stopped---or can he? Info: Auxiliary Dog Theatre, 3011 Monte Vista Blvd NE, 254-7716, http://www.auxdog.org Price: $15.

Upcoming performances at the Albuquerque Theatre Guild include:

Thru November 14 | Fridays & Saturdays at 8 and Sundays at 2.
A THOUSAND CLOWNS - directed by Theodore Hamblin and JoRae Taylor. This benchmark of Broadway comedy produced one of the theatre's most beloved roles: unconventional Murray, uncle to precocious nephew, Nick. Tired of writing cheap comedy gags for "Chipper the Chipmunk" a children's television star, Murray finds himself unemployed with plenty of free time with which to pursue his...pursuits. Lectured by his conventional brother Arnold and hounded by "the system," Murray is paid a visit by bickering, uptight social workers, Sandra and Albert, and finds himself solving their problems as well as most of his own. Info: Adobe Theater, 9813 Fourth St. NW, 898-9222, http://www.adobetheater.org Price: $14, Seniors or Students $12.

November 5 - 21 | Fridays & Saturdays at 8 and Sundays at 4.
TIME ENOUGH - by Robert Benjamin, directed by Sheila Freed. Recently widowed, Ann ventures to a Shakespeare festival where she meets a lyrical codger at three in the morning at the B&B inn. Their banter leads to anonymous intimacy that explodes when she realizes he's her high-school sweetheart. Romance ensues until his revealed secret destroys the protective barrier between her and her unresolved grief. Both face an excruciating decision about whether to continue the relationship in this intimate tale of rekindled romance, deception and longing. RAISED BY HUMANS - by Susan Erickson, directed by David Richard Jones. This world premiere tackles fractured families, loss and intolerance, and ultimately makes room for love and second chances. The story takes place in three alternating worlds: The small town of Milkweed, the top of Bear Mountain, and the outrageous Afterlife, where a spandex-clad Gabriel runs a support group for the recently departed called PAL: Parents of Adult Losers. Back on Earth, Bonnie Rose Hershberger, a lonely single mother with a troubled teenage son refuses to mourn her estranged parents who recently died in a mysterious bear attack. She retreats to the top of Bear Mountain where she downs a bottle of pills. Bonnie is rescued (or is she abducted?) by a bear-beast who takes her to his cave. Nature, in all its romantic savagery, provides the setting where mysteries abound and three worlds collide in an emotional romp through heavenly and earthly planes. Info: The Vortex Theatre, 2004 1/2 Central SE, 247-8600, http://www.vortexabq.org Price: $15, Student rush 10 minutes before curtain $10.

TRAITORS - by Kristen D. Simpson, directed by Summer Olsson. A world premiere from Tricklock Company, this is a highly physical, fantastic deluge of action, adventure, true love and treachery. Led by guides with the ability to manipulate scenes, the audience peeks into what really happened in the eleventh hour leading up to radical double-crossings. Benedict Arnold is haunted by memories of battle, and as his friends change to enemies all around him, he suddenly finds himself on a ship in a crashing sea. Mary Magdalene and Judas Iscariot fight to understand why their best friend subjects himself to so much danger, but the truth is complicated. Senator Joseph McCarthy fights to protect America from the ultimate danger. Love affairs, both intellectual and physical, threaten to kindle and combust. Part history, part fantasy, "Traitors" explodes with intrigue. With romance in mind, the two follow a duo of beautiful singing sisters en route to their Christmas show at a Vermont lodge, which just happens to be owned by Bob and Phil's former army commander.
