Albuquerque Theatre Guild Board Elects New Officers, Members

Albuquerque, N.M. Albuquerque Theatre Guild is pleased to announce the new 2011-2012 officers of its board of directors, and that the successful ATG's 2011 Tennessee Williams Festival continues in July and August. Rancho Pancho, a play about Williams tumultuous relationships runs late July and August at the National Hispanic Cultural Center, and two one act plays by Williams, The Travelling Companion and Cavalier for 

M'Lady, in will be staged August at Desert Rose Playhouse.

The new ATG board officers are:

Ray Orley, President, an actor and a founding member of the

 Albuquerque Theatre Guild. Orley was also the first President of the organization.

Kristen Loree, Vice President, is an actor and playwright. She is a founding member of theAlbuquerque Theatre Guild and represents the UNM Dept of Theatre and Dance.Hugh Witemeyer, Secretary, is UNM Professor Emeritus of English and an actor. He recently served two terms as ATG President and two as Secretary.

Claudia Mathes, Treasurer, is a stage manager, prop designer, and director. She has worked for many years at various Albuquerque theaters and is currently on the board of the Vortex Theatre.

Newly elected board members are:

Reeve Love, Director of Performing Arts at the National Hispanic Cultural Center.

Marty Epstein, representing The Vortex. Epstein is a directs products at many local theaters, and is a board member of the Vortex.

Ninette Mordaunt and Scott Sharot, individual members. Both are actors and long-time members of the Albuquerque theatre community with many roles in many productions over the years.
