This is the first time I have seen Russell doing stand up and he was fantastic!
He more than surpassed my laugh test, had huge amounts of energy and had the audience in stitches from start to finish with a great range of gags and stories.
Unfortunately I didn’t find the warm up act funny at all – I barely managed a laugh, but some of my fellow audience members did so I guess it’s just a question of taste.
What is great to see, is the consistent stream of popular International comics coming to Melbourne and Russell Howard is the best I have seen so far.
Russell is highly recommended – the warm up not.
