The Garden of Unearthly Delights - the world's biggest culture playground - is back for 2018. The beating heart of the Adelaide Fringe brings you an exceptional world-class program of theatre, dance, circus, comedy, live music and family shows across 31 summer days and starry nights.

The Garden team travel the world year-round to find the very best award-winning shows and the most inventive and exciting new works to present to our audience. Some of the many highlights of the 2018 program include:

The new riotous technicolor party for all ages Fun House makes its debut in The Garden alongside its big sister from the same acclaimed Strut and Fret Production House: The massive sell-out sensation of 2017 Blanc de Blanc returns.

A truly exciting program this year features some of the most interesting theatre: The BAFTA winning, five-star hit of the Edinburgh Fringe Fleabag comes to The Garden direct from Soho Theatre and Séance present a fully immersive theatrical experience... in complete darkness.

The extraordinary physicist-turned-magician Kevin Quantum is back with two shows: Anti-Gravity where he defies the laws of gravity and his comedy sketch show sure to rock your socks off (and you won't even have to take off your shoes): And For My Next Trick.

Some of the world's most hilarious standup comedy superstars once again grace The Garden including: The hilarious Puppetry of The Penis; a surefire good night out Best of the Edinburgh Fest; Australian favourites Dave Hughes, Wil Anderson, Harley Breen, Tom Gleeson, Cal Wilson, Heath Franklin's Chopper, Lawrence Mooney, the list goes on; critically acclaimed purple puppet Randy and so many other huge names - plus so many that are set to become the huge names of next year!

The laughter doesn't stop there. Acclaimed absurd physical comedians Trygve Wakenshaw & Barnie Duncan present their surreal show Different Party, freestyle genius Abandoman plays out the musical in his mind, the completely incredible Baby Wants Candy (fully improvised musical with a full band) is back and they've brought a second show called Thrones! A Musical Parody.

A Night at the Musicals starring Fringe's favourite drag-queen baritone, the delicious Le Gateau Chocolat and the world- famous actor, comedian, show-pony and yes, drag queen: Jonny Woo kicks off the The Garden's cabaret program with stunning boundary-pushing shows such as YUMMY, Bob Downe's 39th Birthday Bash, Glittery Clittery: a conSENSUAL Party, Courtney Act - Under The Covers, Lucky: Songs By Kylie, Betty Grumble: LOVE & ANGER (or Sex Clown Saves The World AGAIN!), Livvy & Pete: The Songs Of Olivia Newton-John and Peter Allen and Trash and Trevor - The Best of Trevor Ashley.

A strong programming point every year is showcasing the best performance from our nation's first people; this year The Garden Sessions continue with free concerts each weekend by local indigenous musicians, Djuki Mala are back with their unique, infectious, high-energy and exuberant show - part dance and part storytelling - and the masterful musical sensitivity of Gawurra's voice will fill the stunning Speigeltent for one night only.

Physical comedy once again makes a splash with Dislocate's 3 Speed Crunch Box, family-favourites the Trash Test Dummies new wet and wild show Splash Test Dummies, Tom Flanagan's award-wining one-man slapstick gem Kaput and the queen of physical comedy Tessa Waters' new show Volcano.

The Garden gets kids off to a good start, often giving them their first taste of the arts. This season has one of the strongest family lineups yet with Peter Combe, Amazing Drumming Monkeys' - The "Ocean" Show, Balloonatics, Eco Faeries live, FoRT, Loose Ends, Monski Mouse's Baby Disco Dance Hall, Mr. Snot Bottom's Stinky Silly Songs, My Brown Paper Clouds, SeaStar Rock, The Gizmo.

This year The Garden presents an incredible music lineup featuring Adelaide born singing sensation Carla Lippis, romantic dark-folk-country band Tinpan Orange, jazz superstar Emma Pask, Scottish traditional stars Breabach, Paul McDermott and Steven Gates (Tripod) team up, plus Russell Morris, The Amy Winehouse Show, The Audreys, The Teskey Brothers, The Thin White Ukes, Timberwolf, Too Many Zooz, Underground Lovers and more.
