Twenty-two young talented musicians and singers from the celebrated award winning Marryatville High School Music Centre will bring cheer to the historic neo gothic Wesley Church Kent Town when they present their showcase at Concerts at Kent Town at 2pm Wednesday 20 September, under the direction of Aldis Sils Head of Music at the school.
The ensemble will perform a diverse program of music and songs from best loved classics to swing, showing their expertise on a variety of instruments from the mighty church organ to saxophone. Accompanist Jamie Cock.
The ensemble can truly claim to be award winners having won four of the prestigious awards at this year's Eisteddfod, prompting distinguished judge Carl Crossin to say that the winners were testament to the strength of a program that develops musicianship through singing from junior through to senior students.
