International cabaret sensation and Adelaide Fringe royalty Le Gateau Chocolat is back with more glamour, more glitz and more of his beautiful baritone than ever before - and this time, it's for kids.

Gateau's first ever work especially for children (and the young at heart), DUCKIE presents a fresh and funny take on the classic tale of The Ugly Duckling, only this time with far more sing-a-longs, dress ups, Disney references and Chocolat than the original!

Based on his own childhood experiences with bullying and struggles of self-acceptance, and a life lived "on the fringes", DUCKIE is a journey to self discovery that balances serious and important issues with Gateau's signature humour and fun. A quirky, humorous and positive look at identity and belonging, DUCKIE explores what it's like to feel different and how to find one's place in the world. Suitable for ages 6+.
