It's All Change But Ivor's Not Going Quietly! Supporting Dementia Australia Image

Ivor waits, his train of thought broken by his fragmented and decaying memory.

His daughter Lily packs a bag, preparing him for a "home". But change is never easy and Ivor's not going quietly. As fast as Lily packs, he unpacks... and so the game begins!

Crossed wires and changing tracks lead to confusion and hilarious misunderstandings multiply in a nostalgic comedy that is "impeccably judged, a fine performance of a brutally insightful script" (Fringe Guru)

ALL CHANGEis a tale for our times, using humour to address issues of failing memory and caring for an aging parent whilst facing our own personal challenges. Performed by sitcom veteran Tim Marriott with Adelaide's own Stefanie Rossi (Mengele, Reasonable Doubt, Two, Toyer)as Lily, this run of performances follows an acclaimed run at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe - "An excellent play" (Fringe review); "Compelling, delightful... heart warming" (The Skinny).

Tim Marriott says: "Hundreds of thousands of families are affected by dementia every year. It has an immense impact on the lives of everyone it touches and as time ticks on its something that any of us might eventually suffer", whilst Stefanie Rossiis keen to point out the humour in the piece and adds: "Whilst the personal tragedy of dementia is at the heart of All Change, it's very much a play filled with humanity, warmth and humour."

All Change is scripted by TH Marriott and based on close personal experience.

Tim Marriott is best known for seven series of BBC TV's leisure centre sit-com The Brittas Empire, appearing in every episode as deputy manager, Gavin. Other TV credits include Allo Allo, Doctors, The Bill, An Actor's Life for Me, The Main Event, Luv and film credits include the forthcoming features The Real Thing, Love Type D and Revelation.Stefanie Rossiis well known to Adelaide audiences through her recent work at the Bakehouse Theatre with STARC productions and with Tim Marriott free from discrimination.
