Carnevale is imminent and preparations are in overdrive. Delicious food is being prepped by the regional clubs, exhibitions are being hung, booths are being constructed and stocked, signage is up, the motor show vehicles are in place and at 9am on Saturday morning, all will be ready for the public.
Enjoy Cooking Masterclasses with popular Australian chefs and San Remo Brand Ambassadors! Adam Swanson and Laura Cassai are impressive presenters with a passion for good cuisine. And we must not forget Kids in the Kitchen! Brasilia Coffee is also in attendance and one can taste an espresso and have a round of Briscola or Jenga.
For those who like their culture to be visual, the exhibitions will be captivating. The Marche Club has Marchigiani Famosi - there were so many famous people who came from the Marche region - very informative! As well there is the Giorno del Ricordo - Remembrance Day - an exhibition of the Giuliano-Dalmati exodus and their journey to SA. Also check out the San Rocco Adelaide historical photo exhibition.
Main Stage MC, Englishman Rick Hutton, comes to Italian Festival Carnevale via Lucca, Tuscany and he will keep the acts moving and entertain us with his line of patter in both English and Italian.
Fashion Parades, with four on both days, will see the catwalk alive with Kids Fashion Shows, beautiful models and stunning creations from Siedana, Atelier Milano, Free at Heart, Design and Alter, Chaos, Cassar and Son One Neo. A feast for the eyes!
