To celebrate the true joy of multiculturalism in SA, and as it proved such a success in 2016, Italian Festival is pleased to be showcasing other cultural groups on MULTICULTURAL SATURDAY.

Dance is the main theme and several energetic ensembles are represented. On the Main Stage in Piazza Jubilee, one can delight in the traditional movements of Macedonian Dancers and a little later,

dynamic Grandmaster Leong's Wing Chun Kung Fu, Muay Thai and Wushu Academy will demonstrate the Lion Dance and a Wushu or Kung Fu demonstration.

As well, the sounds of South America will be aired with exotically costumed women from Brazilian Dance Fusion donning their ostrich plumes and popular dance duo, Southern Cross Tango. The sub-continent is also present with the vibrant Kalalya Indian Dancers.

Bollywood comes to Italy via Australia!

Naturally home-grown talent is out in force with Elevate Duo, Isabella De Marco & Alexandra Mantis, The Traditional Trio and a Carnevale institution, La Taccarata.

There are also Italian songbirds with Italcanti, Renae Albuino and Michela Capriccioni & Quentin Eyers. The Al Fresco Stage is set to rock with bands Everybody Talks and A Party with Kate. And we must not forget the Tarantella Competition on both evenings with the fabulous Sopranos!

MULTICULTURAL SATURDAY promises to be a colourful and diverse day of entertainment, celebrating what is great and enduring in South Australia.
