GORLESQUE is Back by Popular Demand for the 2018 Adelaide Fringe Image

Velvet Chase Productions, Adelaide's own alternative Art House Production Company, returns with its second annual, cult classic genre, production, Gorelesque, at The A Club, for the 2018 Adelaide Fringe.

After Velvet Chase Productions debuted their sellout season of That's F#@$D Up Gorelesque at last year's Adelaide Fringe, to an audience that was literally screaming for more shows, Candida has brought it back from the dead and raised the bar yet again.

Gorelesque is Burlesque Noir at its finest, a sub-culture where burlesque and horror collide and gore meets girl, adding some blood into the act, along with some of Australias most eccentric performers, (including New Zealand's own "Weirdest performer") and there you have it; Gorelesque!

The performance is jam-packed with local, national, and international performers, and will be hosted by last year's hilarious gender bender duo, G.I Junk & Hazel Nuts.

Velvet Chase heads the lineup, along with a star studded cast of title winners from the Australian Burlesque Festival, Miss Burlesque Australia, Burlesque Idol, Sydney Burlesque Gala, Miss Erotica, New Zealand Body Art Showcase, Miss Ink Australia, and with special guests from: United Kingdom, New Zealand, and the Australian states of Victoria, New South Wales, and South Australia.

Every week features a different group of performers to ensure a return attendance is offered a fresh affair.

The girls of gore will have you laughing, screaming and, hopefully, cringing with the high standard of alternative Art House acts that Velvet Chase Productions like to bring to their audiences.

Gorelesque is a 90 minute show that runs every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night over 3 weeks, commencing February 15th and running until March 3rd. Shows start at 8pm sharp, so don't be late.

Step back in time and let the electric atmosphere and old world ambience of The A Club take over, whilst you sit in a booth and sip on one of their specialty cocktails.

Performances are at 8pm on, 15th, 16th, 17th, 22nd, 23rd, 24th, February, and 1st, 2nd, 3rd March.
