Two parts fever dream and one part personality quiz, Final Form takes aim at the desperate lengths we go to in our eternal quest to be liked. It's a meditation on being everything to everyone, replete with ghosts, strawberries, a cello, and the teachings of 1950s sociologist Erving Goffman.
Delivered with at least twice the energy you'd expect from someone wearing so much black, Final Form has more twists than The Matrix, looping unexpected 20th century wisdom over 21st century life, to repeatedly and obsessively ask: is it possible to stop editing ourselves to please others?
Ange Lavoipierre is a newcomer to comedy, having toured a split bill to Adelaide Fringe, MICF, Sydney Comedy Festival and Edinburgh Fringe in 2018. She's also the longstanding cello accompanist to beloved improv duo, The Bear Pack (Carlo Ritchie & Steen Raskopolous) and co- host of the ABC's daily news & current affairs podcast, The Signal.
Directed by Ben Jenkins (Tonightly, The Feed, The Checkout, The Chaser).
